CBRE announced today that Nicholas Chang, Richard Lee, Justin Kuehn and Sione Fua have joined its Inland Empire office. The team joins the company from NAI Capital.

"It's exciting to welcome this high-impact team, who shares our competitive spirit, sound ethics, and commitment to excellent client service. Their work speaks for itself," said Ian Britton, senior managing director for CBRE's Inland Empire. "Despite the recent market correction, the long-term fundamentals for our industrial market are among the best in the country given the continued growth in e-commerce, our proximity to the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, our base of Fortune 500 occupiers, a wealth of institutional capital as well as our immediate access to large population centers across 11 Western states."

The four sales professionals, led by Mr. Chang and Mr. Lee, have developed a diverse and balanced industrial advisory business over the past two decades. They specialize in connecting buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords. They serve small business occupiers and private owners while catering to national tenants and institutional investors across this 650 million square foot market.

Mr. Chang and Mr. Lee both join as senior vice presidents. They bring a combined 40 years of industry experience and have participated in hundreds of transactions valued at $650 million in consideration, including one of the largest single-tenant building sales in the Los Angeles basin, a 1.08 million sq. ft. distribution center in Buena Park, Calif. Both hold their SOIR designations.

"CBRE has been the industry leader for years and allows us to scale our business and better serve our clients," said Chang. "Being able to join the company and take advantage of its expansive global platform, industry-leading data, deep relationships in the marketplace, and complimentary lines of business will allow our team to deliver exceptional client results."

Mr. Kuehn joins the company as the first vice president, bringing 10 years of experience. He has participated in over 150 sales and lease transactions throughout his career. Mr. Fua joins the company as a vice president, bringing seven years of industry experience. Both Justin and Sione were professional athletes before entering commercial real estate.

"They have that competitive drive and entrepreneurial mindset critical for success in our business. As talented business developers, they complement the team by focusing on user sales, representing occupiers, and selling land for future development," added Chang.

"At CBRE, we target leaders who have a long-term commitment to the business and the desire to improve their offering consistently. This team is active in our industry and serves on the board of directors for key organizations like NAIOP, SIOR, and CCIM. They are dedicated to education, advocacy, and supporting the next generation of professionals in commercial real estate. They will be outstanding ambassadors for CBRE, and we are excited to welcome them," added Britton.
