CBRE Hires Office Specialist Karena Gilbert in Boise, Idaho

CBRE announced today that Karena Gilbert has joined its Boise office with Advisory & Transaction Services. Ms. Gilbert will specialize in office sales and leasing for investors, landlords and tenants.

Ms. Gilbert brings more than 18 years of brokerage and commercial construction experience to the company, most recently with Colliers. Prior to that, she served as an Office Brokerage Specialist with TOK Commercial for nine years, and she worked in construction management and development as an Owner’s Representative before transitioning to brokerage. Throughout her career, Ms. Gilbert has led or participated in more than 500 office sales and lease transactions for a total consideration of $174 million.

Ms. Gilbert is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. She is also active with the Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), a board member of The Idaho Shakespeare Festival and a coach for Girls on the Run. She previously served as a board member of CCIM, a co-chair of ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative and a member of CREW Idaho. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Boise State University.
