CBRE announced the opening of its 9,891-sq.-ft. office at Santa Fe Crossings, a 134,978-square-foot, Class A office building at 521 E. 2nd Street in downtown Tulsa. CBRE’s office is located on the seventh floor of the building. CBRE relocated from its previous workplace at 1437 South Boulder Avenue.

The new office is part of CBRE’s Workplace360 program showcasing the company’s “Future of Work” space standards, including innovative technology and a wider variety of collaborative spaces designed to support hybrid working.

“Our new Workplace360 office was thoughtfully designed to maximize in-office collaboration and offer our employees and clients an exceptional experience,” said Bob Pielsticker, senior vice president and Director at CBRE’s Tulsa office. “The location in Tulsa’s Blue Dome district provides the ultimate live-work-play experience for our employees as we’re in easy walking distance to many amenities.”

The office features various social spaces that includes a 100’ LED Media Wall, several individual and group workspaces, and a large boardroom known as the Gathering Place for large-format internal meetings or presentations for clients and visitors. All conference rooms are video-conference-enabled while the Gathering Place features a Digital Companion Whiteboard, allowing employees to work together with an interactive whiteboard that both in-office and remote employees can use simultaneously.

CBRE launched its Workplace360 program in 2013 and has since opened more than 100 Workplace360 offices across the globe. A cornerstone of the Workplace360 model is its “free address” approach with no assigned seating. Instead, teams are assigned to various neighborhood work areas where they can use any unoccupied seat. As many companies move to hybrid work models, a free-address approach allows for any workstation or office to be used by any employees who are in the office on a given day.

"Today's industry-leading talent is attracted to the thoughtful design and amenities that make their decision to come into the office even easier," said Peter Van Emburgh, global head of CBRE’s corporate real estate. "In Tulsa, CBRE employees are in a premier mixed-use development that creates an exceptional workplace experience with access to amenities, state-of-the-art technology and a variety of places to work."

Santa Fe Crossings is the first phase of a larger $125 million mixed-use development in downtown Tulsa. The 12-story high-rise structure includes office space on the upper six floors and 720 parking spaces on the lower levels. The balance of the development consists of 189 Class A apartment units, a small park and several restaurants with outdoor seating.
