CBRE Secures $31 Million in Permanent Financing for The Somerset at Montgomery in Somerset County, NJ

CBRE today announced it has secured $31 million in permanent financing for The Somerset at Montgomery, a newly constructed, 115-unit luxury apartment community located at 1377 Route 206 in Montgomery Township, Somerset County, New Jersey. The financing was provided by New York Life to the developer, County Classics.

The CBRE Debt & Structured Finance team of Matthew Pizzolato, Josh Stein, Jason Gaccione, Shawn Rosenthal, and Jake Salkovitz facilitated the loan on behalf of the borrower.

Completed in 2024, The Somerset at Montgomery consists of two buildings totaling 115 units, including 92 market-rate and 23 affordable apartments, along with 220 surface parking spaces. The property features modern floor plans with in-unit washers and dryers, high-end finishes, private balconies, a fitness center, dedicated storage, and EV charging stations.

Located along Route 206 in the Skillman section of Montgomery Township, the community benefits from immediate access to a robust retail corridor. Nearby amenities include Montgomery Promenade, a newly developed 293,000-square-foot retail center anchored by Whole Foods and complemented by green space, as well as a wide array of dining, shopping, and recreational options.
