CBRE has secured the first of a few new office leases on behalf of Prebys Foundation, the new owner of 401 B Street—better known as Wells Fargo Plaza in downtown San Diego. The National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) has signed a long-term agreement for 11,296 square feet, marking a pivotal moment in the property's revitalization under new stewardship.

CBRE’s Tyler Jemmett and Anna Barnes represented Prebys Foundation in the transaction. CBRE’s Tom Turner and Bryan Bazzi represented the National Conflict Resolution Center.

"This transaction reflects continued demand for high-quality office space in downtown San Diego," said Jemmett, First Vice President at CBRE. "401 B Street offers a best-in-class environment for mission-driven organizations like NCRC, and we're pleased to have supported both parties in achieving a successful outcome."

The National Conflict Resolution Center will move to the 14th floor of the tower. The company is relocating from its previous location at 530 B Street. The suite they will occupy features a combination of private offices, conference rooms and break rooms.

"The National Conflict Resolution Center is thrilled to have secured the first lease under the new ownership of the Prebys Foundation at 401 B Street." Said Steven Dinkin, the President of NCRC. "We remain committed to bringing our innovative communication and conflict management skills and strategies to the local community as well as the nation. Conflict resolution strategies are needed now more than ever!"

Prebys Foundation purchased the 24-story office building earlier this year. The building features a renovated lobby, a state-of-the-art fitness center with showers and lockers, a conferencing center, an outdoor tenant lounge, and an on-site cafe, the Plaza Deli.

"At the Prebys Foundation, we believe vibrant communities are built in the places where people live and work," said Grant Oliphant, CEO of Prebys Foundation. "Welcoming NCRC to Wells Fargo Plaza reflects our commitment to investing in organizations that strengthen San Diego and to reimagining downtown as a hub for purpose-driven impact."
