CBRE has boosted its childcare brokerage capability with a consolidated national team, reinforcing its position as a leading advisor in Australia’s healthcare and social infrastructure sector.

The move brings together CBRE’s most active and connected childcare brokers from across the country into a single, coordinated team, leveraging deep relationships with domestic and offshore capital, operators, and developers to deliver consistent, market-leading outcomes at scale.

The national team is led by Sandro Peluso, alongside Jimmy Tat, Natalie Couper, Michael Vanstone, Marcello Caspani-Muto, Adam Thomas and Yosh Mendis.

Senior Managing Director of Private Wealth, Ingrid Filmer said: “CBRE’s strength in the childcare sector comes from our ability to operate as one national team. No other group has the same depth of relationships, data, and execution capability. This alignment ensures we continue to lead the market and deliver superior outcomes for our clients.”

By aligning expertise, data, and client relationships, the team is uniquely placed to generate competitive tension, access capital at scale, and execute complex transactions with certainty.

National Director of Australian Healthcare and Social Infrastructure Sandro Peluso added: “We’ve deliberately built this platform to lead from the front. When we bring our national capability together, we create a level of competition and market reach that others simply can’t match. That translates directly into stronger pricing, greater deal certainty, and a clear advantage for our clients.”

Over the past 24–36 months, CBRE has transacted a significant share of childcare centres across Australia’s key East Coast markets, including the sale of a centre leased to Only About Children in Cremorne NSW, which set a new pricing benchmark at the time. This sustained activity has provided the team with real-time pricing intelligence, exceptional buyer access, and a proven ability to execute across varying market conditions.

With investor demand continuing to strengthen, particularly from institutional and offshore capital, the national team is positioned to capture the next wave of activity in the childcare sector, further cementing its leadership position.
