CBRE to Market Sale of 21 Former School Properties in Chicago

CBRE today announced it has been retained by the Board of Education of the City of Chicago as the exclusive agent for the sale of 21 properties throughout Chicago. These assets are sold via a public bid process, with the current round to bid opening Friday, March 14. Bids on individual properties are due in person no later than 4:00pm CST on May 30, 2025.
CBRE’s Mike Nardini and Nicole Mentone will market the opportunities on behalf of the Board of Education of the City of Chicago.
“We currently have multiple projects in each of these wards,” said Nardini, “The demand is high for affordable housing conversions, senior housing conversions, and community centric repurposing.”
