James Garner and Jim Shiebler Join CBRE

CBRE announced today that James Garner, CCIM, and Jim Shiebler, CCIM, have joined the firm’s Tampa office as Senior Vice Presidents with the firm’s Capital Markets group. They will focus on assisting private capital and individual property owners with the investment sales of multi-tenant shopping centers and single tenant net leased assets along Florida’s west coast.

Mr. Garner and Mr. Shiebler come to CBRE from Marcus & Millichap’s Investment Services group, where they represented clients in the acquisition, disposition and exchange of investment-grade retail properties in Florida and throughout the nation. With more than two decades of combined commercial real estate experience, they have transacted for several of the largest local and national retailers with sales volume totaling over $1 billion.

Early in his career, Mr. Garner worked on several high-profile commercial projects for Ingersoll Rand in New York City, including the One World Trade Center. Over the past 10 years, he has carved his niche in in the retail sector helping private individuals, developers, and investment funds all over the nation build wealth through identifying both stable and value add investment opportunities, strategically executing asset specific business plan, and navigating the inherent risks fluctuations in the market can provide. He is a proud alumnus of Purdue University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Selling and Sales Management and a certificate in Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Shiebler transitioned to commercial real estate investment sales after holding various prestigious executive positions operating hotels, resorts, casinos, and restaurants. During his tenure with Marcus & Millichap, he received six title promotions within six years and received various recognition.
