CBRE Welcomes Multifamily Specialist Clark Matthews in Des Moines

CBRE announced today that Clark Matthews, CCIM, has joined the firm’s Des Moines office as a Senior Associate. He will partner with Senior Vice President Cy Fox, CCIM, and First Vice President Ray Hamilton and specialize in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties throughout Iowa.

Mr. Matthews brings over 10 years of commercial real estate experience to CBRE. Over his career, he has been involved in over 250 sale-leaseback, development, acquisition and disposition transactions, totaling more than $500 million in aggregate value.

Most recently, Mr. Matthews served as Director of the Strategy Execution Office for the Iowa-based international development and holding company Krause Group, where he was responsible for underwriting mergers and acquisitions opportunities, managed a $600 million real estate portfolio with more than 500 properties and provided strategic real estate development plans across all lines of global business.

Additionally, Mr. Matthews is a current Habitat for Humanity board member and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Food Bank of Iowa. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
