CBRE Welcomes Net Lease Advisory Team Led by Tony Anderson and Richard Brehaut to South Bay Office

CBRE announced today that Tony Anderson and Richard Brehaut have joined the company’s South Bay office in El Segundo, California, as Senior Vice Presidents. They are joined by Senior Associates Nathan Barnes and Vince Saucer and Associates James Watkins and Simon Lewis. The team will specialize in providing net lease advisory services across the U.S.

Mr. Anderson and Brehaut were previously Senior Directors at Ascension. They focus on advising developers, family office and institutional groups on their investment sales strategies. In addition, they specialize in structuring sale-leasebacks for private equity, family/founder-owner companies, and franchisees, helping to maximize the value of their real estate through detailed underwriting and understanding business and real estate fundamentals. With two decades of combined commercial real estate experience, the pair has transacted for some of the largest developers, family offices, institutions, and private equity companies, with aggregate sale volume exceeding $2 billion in the retail, industrial, healthcare and special use sectors.

Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in applied statistics and Near Eastern studies from the University of Michigan and was a varsity football letterman. In addition, he has a master’s degree in education from Concordia University. Mr. Brehaut holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. He was a two-sport varsity letterman, playing quarterback for the football team and catcher for the baseball team.

Mr. Saucer, Mr. Watkins and Mr. Lewis come to CBRE from Ascension, while Mr. Barnes was previously Director of Investments at Oak Cap Ventures. Mr. Barnes, Mr. Watkins and Mr. Lewis will focus on assisting small- and mid-cap companies and private equity firms in structuring sale-leaseback transactions for company-owned real estate. Mr. Saucer will focus on assisting large institutions and private clients across the industrial and retail sectors.
