CBRE announced that ZTEX, LLC, led by Christopher Zamora, has purchased a 5.32-acre tract of land at the Northwest quadrant of I-30 and FM 551 in Fate, Texas. The property was sold by Petro-Hunt, LLC for an undisclosed price. Thurston Witt with CBRE represented both parties in the transaction.
ZTEX, LLC, will use the land to build Rockwall County Volkswagen, a Volkswagen car dealership. Mr. Zamora and his family own approximately 20 car dealerships across the country. This will be the company’s fourth dealership in Texas and their first in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
“Rockwall County was identified by Volkswagen as a high growth area with no current brand representation,” said Mr. Witt. “Mr. Zamora’s bid was selected out of several applicants to open the dealership because of his organization's track record regarding client satisfaction, state of the art facilities, sales volume and a strategic vision for the future.”
Petro-Hunt, LLC plans for a mix of commercial, retail and residential on the remaining 250 acres of land they own in Fate.
