Market-Leading Multifamily Sales Team Joins CBRE in Indianapolis, Indiana

CBRE today announced that a market-leading multifamily investment sales team has joined the firm in Indianapolis. George Tikijian III and Hannah Ott join CBRE Capital Markets as Vice Chairs, along with Cameron Benz as a First Vice President and a team of talented professionals.

The team will focus on multifamily investment sales in Indiana and Kentucky with plans to expand into neighboring markets. Since 2019, they have completed more than 200 transactions comprising over 47,000 units and totaling over $5.6 billion in consideration. Recent accomplishments include brokering the largest multifamily transaction by dollar volume in Indiana at over $245 million, exceeding 50% market share in the state of Indiana and handling 100% of the $100-million-plus multifamily sales in Indiana for many years.

The team joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield.

Mr. Tikijian and Ms. Ott co-lead the team. Mr. Tikijian rejoins CBRE after serving as Executive Vice Chair of multifamily advisory in the Midwest at his previous firm and before that as owner of Tikijian Associates. Throughout his 40-year career, he has led or participated in more than 600 multifamily sales, comprising over 140,000 units and totaling over $9.4 billion in consideration. Ms. Ott previously served as Executive Vice Chair and has over 22 years of industry experience. Throughout her career, she has led or been involved in more than 400 multifamily sales and 92,000 units with a total consideration of over $7.7 billion.

Cameron Benz previously served as a Director. He is a local expert in build-to-rent (BTR) communities and was responsible for leading the successful sale of Indiana’s first completed BTR transaction.
