William Wilkins Joins CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance Team in Washington, D.C.

CBRE has announced that William Wilkins has joined the firm’s Debt & Structured Finance team as Senior Vice President, further strengthening its capital markets capabilities across the Mid-Atlantic region.

In this role, Wilkins will focus on originating and structuring debt and equity solutions for institutional and private clients, with an emphasis on office, retail, and industrial assets, as well as construction financing across all property types. He will work closely with Maxi Leachman, Matt Hodson, and John Rehberger, alongside their 10-person team, to deliver integrated capital markets strategies.

Wilkins returns to CBRE from ELV Associates, where he served as Director since 2019. Over the course of his career, he has led capitalizations totaling $7.4 billion across multifamily and commercial assets, including 14,000 apartment units and 11.3 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space.

He previously spent four years with CBRE’s DSF group and two years with Chartwell Holdings following his MBA. Wilkins holds a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
