With its population growing 25.6% from July 2022 to July 2023, Fulshear ranks as the second-fastest growing city in the Country. The explosive growth of the Houston region, and of Fort Bend County in particular, has brought new housing developments, businesses, and schools to the area. By the 2020 census, Fulshear’s population had grown to about 17,000 — and since then, it has nearly tripled to about 43,000 people. For example, just west of its predecessor, 3,200-acre community of Cross Creek, Cross Creek West is a 1,258-acre master-planned
