From its origin in 1914 as the home for the LL Burns Western Costume Company to its recent renovation and restoration as the HQ for Tarina Tarantino’s famed Sparkle Factory brand of jewelry, 908 S. Broadway has lived an illustrious life woven into the fabric of the Angeleno culture of Art and Entertainment. Designed by famed architects Meyer and Holler, known for their other LA icons – Grauman’s Chinese and Egyptian Theatres, 908 S. Broadway has been enriched through its history by instances such as its “starring role” in the famous “man hanging from clock scene” from the 1923 silent film “Safety Last”, to its most recent choice by notorious underground street artist Banksy as his canvas for the “Girl on Swing” art installment.
