The prime Buckhead site, fronting Piedmont Hospital, is being cleared to allow for the new $603-million Marcus Heart and Vascular Center. The project involves 870,305 square feet of new construction and renovation of about 45,583 square feet, though some of this work will be done on its main campus. Phase One of the project will continue through 2021. Phase Two, which includes building one patient floor per year, will wrap up in 2026.
