Prior to joining BNY Wealth, Boryana worked as a trust and estates attorney at Katten, where she advised high net worth families, closely held business owners and private foundations. Before becoming an attorney, Boryana worked for Deloitte Consulting implementing brand management solutions for Fortune 500 clients.


In 2021, Boryana was named on the Los Angeles Times list of “Banking and Finance Visionaries.” Boryana frequently lectures on wealth planning topics to forums such as the ABA, AAML, Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Vistage, UCLA Law School, USC Business School, Texas Advanced Family Law Conference, New Frontiers in Marital Property Law, Hawaii Tax Institute, STEP and numerous estate planning councils. Boryana serves on the Board of LEAD, the leadership organization of UCLA Law School.


Boryana obtained her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law and her Bachelor Of Arts degree in Economics and German, summa cum laude and Class Valedictorian, from Colgate University. She has five sons and lives with her family in Manhattan Beach.
