Author, "Likeable Badass: How Women Get the Success They Deserve"

Alison Fragale is an organizational psychologist who researches power, status, influence, conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication in professional settings. As an associate professor at University of North Carolina, she focused on leadership and negotiation to students and executives and consulted for organizations such as ExxonMobil, Bayer CropScience, Eastman, AvalonBay, and the U.S. Air Force and Navy. Her work has been published in leading journals, including the Academy of Management Review and the Journal of Applied Psychology.


Previously a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Fragale advised firms on corporate strategy and change management. She serves on Dartmouth’s Rockefeller Center board of visitors and holds a PhD in organizational behavior from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in mathematics and economics from Dartmouth, where she graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
