CBRE’s Q3 2026 Residential Valuer survey confirms the significant shift in residential market performance. It highlights that more than half of Valuers are now reporting ‘soft’ or ‘very limited’ demand in their local markets. They also report that first home buyers have become more dominant as the main buyer group, identified as active by 78% of Valuers in Q3, the highest share since our survey began.
