Tony Rossi is Senior Vice President with CBRE Debt and Structured Finance in Pittsburgh where he has been an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Community since 2007. Since joining CBRE in 2011 Mr. Rossi has assisted in placement of over $1 Billion in Debt Capital for Regional and National Developers/Owners of commercial real estate. These financings have included construction financing for ground up development and historic redevelopment, as well as permanent debt for stabilized portfolio assets and acquisitions. Mr. Rossi has experience working on capital structures of significant complexity including deals with multiple lenders, historic tax credits, condominium arrangements and complex borrower structures. This expertise is an asset for borrowers who may be navigating complex transactions with multiple factors driving the final decision at the asset and borrower level.
Mr. Rossi maintains a strong network of capital providers including agency sources Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and HUD, Investment Banking Capital Sources, Life Insurance Companies, Commercial Banks and Boutique Finance Companies. The breadth of these relationships provides clients with a wide array of capital options for each transaction and certainty of full market exposure when sourcing capital for any project.
Mr. Rossi began his career with a regional commercial bank as a credit analyst and lender where he worked on assets in all stages of development. Formal credit training provided Tony with a strong foundational understanding of the credit process and what factors impact credit decisions from a lender’s perspective.
Mr. Rossi earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University and is a licensed Pennsylvanian Real Estate Salesperson. Tony is actively engaged in several professional organizations including NAIOP where he has sat on the Board of Directors for over 5 years.
