In 2010, Bill partnered with Sean Ivery in establishing the leading data center team in the Western U.S. This team now includes five members and they are experts in negotiating acquisitions of data center facilities, technical infrastructure and operating rights, complex site selection projects, and have completed many of the most important data center projects in the industry. Prior to joining CBRE, Bill led the Global Data Center Advisory practice group at Cushman & Wakefield. He spent 28 years with C&W and help found the DCA Group in 1996.
Bill has completed more than 3.5 million square feet of data center transactions worldwide representing more than 270 MW of critical IT load. He is an expert in negotiating the technical infrastructure and operating rights required for these specialized facilities and has completed many of the largest green field and redevelopment data center site acquisitions, data center sale dispositions, and acquisition of many lease wholesale and colocation facilities.
