Throughout his 30+ year career, Vice Chairman Blake Mirkin has established himself as a leading negotiator in complex sale-and-lease transactions nationwide. With a strong focus on delivering best-in-class real estate services to his clients, Blake has successfully completed over 2,500 sale and lease transactions valued at more than $8 billion.
Serving as a trusted real estate advisor and broker, he caters to a diverse clientele that includes well-respected institutional clients as well as major entertainment, technology, and law firms. Notably, Blake has been the driving force behind some of Los Angeles' most significant deals, including the successful adaptation and reuse of a 650,000 square foot space at the Westside Pavilion to Google and subsequently UCLA and transformational deals like Riot Games in West LA (285,000 SF) and Netflix in Hollywood (600,000 SF). These landmark transactions have not only made a substantial impact on Los Angeles' real estate landscape but have also significantly shaped the city's office occupier market. In addition, Blake has represented both the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as well as the United States Postal Service for many years.
As a tenant advisor, Blake has played a crucial role in the site selection and lease negotiation process for major occupiers, contributing to positioning Los Angeles as a desirable location for prominent corporate headquarters and a thriving hub for innovative, globally recognized companies in industries such as technology, entertainment, law, finance, and healthcare.
Blake's exceptional contributions and leadership have earned him numerous accolades within CBRE. His outstanding performance as a top producer within the Transaction and Advisory Services group has been consistently recognized through internal awards in the West Los Angeles, Greater Los Angeles, and Orange County regions. Notably, he has been honored with the prestigious Colbert Coldwell Circle honor, a distinction bestowed upon the top 3% producers in the entire company. In recognition of his remarkable achievements, Blake was recently promoted to the esteemed position of Vice Chairman, the highest title for producers at CBRE.
