Brannan joined CBRE in 2024 and serves as an Executive Vice President for U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets. CBRE is the world’s leading commercial real estate services firm and ranked at #135 on Fortune’s 2023 list of the largest U.S.-based public companies. The firm spans more than 100 countries and has more than 100,000 employees.
Brannan has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience, including acquisitions and dispositions, equity placement, debt financing, underwriting, development, portfolio and asset evaluation, relationship management, and business development.
Prior to joining CBRE, Brannan was Managing Director in the Boston office of JLL Capital Markets. where he served the firm’s investor, developer and provider clients by developing and executing financial strategies and requirements for their capital and occupancy requirements. He also assisted clients in the evaluation and execution of deal structures to meet their economic, investment and financial objectives.
Brannan advised, arranged or acquired $9 billion in healthcare real estate and has been the primary underwriter of a $1 billion recapitalization of the world’s largest airport logistics investment platform. He has underwritten and developed over $300 million in ground-up developments across the United States. Brannan also previously worked with Realterm Global’s Aeroterm platform, assisting in business development and successfully developing over $300 million in assets under ground lease and recapitalizing their $1 billion airport logistics platform.
