Chris Penrose is a Senior Vice President at CBRE and located at the firm’s headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles. As part of John Zanetos’ team, Chris has been instrumental in winning new business pursuits as well as in assisting in the leasing, selling and/or marketing of properties. Chris and John are part of the Los Angeles Tenant and Landlord Advisory Services Group, and as such have completed more than 5 million square feet in lease transactions in less than three years.
Chris specializes in representing corporations with operations all throughout Los Angeles County and Southern California. His experience and track record with both tenants and landlords has enabled him to successfully complete a number of complex transactions for his clients. Chris is also known for being able to deliver results on time, due to his experience in pre-acquisition due diligence and underwriting, transaction management and portfolio analysis.
The duo’s recent noteworthy transactions include Warner Music Group’s 257,000 square-foot lease at the Ford Factory and City National Bank’s nearly 242,000 square-foot deal at Two Cal Plaza. Chris was also instrumental in facilitating agreements for Nordstrom/HauteLook at The Bloc and for Adidas at The Row.
In 2010, Chris won the “Rookie of the Year” award for the Downtown Los Angeles office. Prior to joining CBRE in 2009, Chris served as an Associate at Transwestern, where he gained experience in both tenant and landlord representation.
