Diana has over 15 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Leasing from Simon Property Group, the largest retail real estate investment trust and shopping mall operator in the US and Cushman & Wakefield. Diana was responsible for leasing premier properties across the country, where she added new national, regional, and local tenants to Simon’s regional malls and Premium Outlets. Her responsibilities included the expansion of key brands throughout the Simon portfolio, including Tory Burch, John Varvatos, All Saints, and Scotch and Soda. In addition, she successfully negotiated relationships with first-to-market stores for major European brands, like Kering Brands.
Diana developed and implemented creative leasing strategies which improved merchandising mix and sales for tenants and increased occupancy rates at their regional malls and Premium Outlets, including Woodbury Commons, Desert Hills, San Francisco and Edinburg Premium Outlets, and successfully leased new developments at Clarksburg, MD and Denver, CO, as well as expansions at San Francisco, Palm Springs and Toronto.
In her 3 years with Cushman & Wakefield, Diana leased over 70,000 sq ft of mixed use retail space including Union Square in Westfield, IN, Federal Hill in Noblesville, IN, The North End in Carmel, IN, and The Cunningham in Des Moines, Iowa. Diana was working on the first Restoration Hardware Outlet in the state on Indiana. Ms Zagarzhevskiy brought the first 5 Iron Golf location into Downtown Indianapolis and leased the former Starbucks space on Monument circle to Command Coffee.
