Evan Knudson

Over his 20-year career at CBRE, Evan Knudson has established himself as one of San Diego's most accomplished and respected commercial real estate brokers. Since joining CBRE in 2006, Evan has completed over 11 million square feet of leasing and sales transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $1.2 billion. His work encompasses both occupier and agency representation, with deep specialization in large and complex leasing and sales transactions across office, R&D, and industrial properties throughout the San Diego region.

Evan's areas of expertise include market trend analysis, financial analysis, strategic execution, negotiation, and extension option and arbitration consulting. Clients consistently value his attention to detail, responsiveness, and relentless focus on executing the most advantageous terms on their behalf, ensuring outcomes that meet or exceed expectations. Evan began his career at CBRE in Seattle, Washington as a Tenant Rep Research Analyst, an experience that proved to be an invaluable foundation, giving him a uniquely grounded understanding of tenant needs within a real estate transaction. This tenant-centric perspective enhances his ability to serve both tenants and landlords, delivering solutions that maximize value and drive successful outcomes for his clients. That analytical foundation, combined with two decades of market knowledge and relationship building, has positioned Evan as a preeminent broker in the San Diego market.

Throughout his career, Evan has earned numerous regional and national awards and accolades, including multiple Client Outcome and Innovation Awards in 2018, 2020, and 2022, recognition for closing the largest tenant rep office transactions in San Diego County in 2017, and the CBRE Rookie of the Year honor in 2010.

Outside of the office, Evan is deeply devoted to his family and community. He and his wife Whitney, married since 2014, are the proud parents of three elementary school-aged children. Evan can regularly be found on the sidelines coaching his kids' football, soccer, and baseball teams, and gives back further through volunteer work at school and with local community nonprofits.
