Jonathan Beard joined CBRE, Inc. in 2005, specializing in investment sales in the Baltimore, Maryland office. Now serving the firm as an Executive Vice President, Mr. Beard focuses on assets throughout the Mid-Atlantic and is a member of CBRE’s Institutional Group, as well as CBRE National Partners. Since joining CBRE, Mr. Beard has handled the dispositions of properties with an aggregate value exceeding $8.5 billion. 

Mr. Beard represents the Northeast Region for CBRE National Partners, a partnership that delivers superior strategy and execution over the industrial property life cycle. Located in the 8 key logistics hubs, the 72 investment sales and support professionals connect local market insight to a national capital markets perspective. Enhanced by a fully integrated debt platform, the National Partners team are able to achieve remarkable results for their national, regional and local clients. In 2021, the team successfully completed 410 transactions totaling 274 million square feet with an aggregate value of $31.9 billion. CBRE’s industrial sales platform is market leader in the industry enjoying a #1 ranking according to Green Street.

Mr. Beard has over 25 years of experience in real estate and business acquisition. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Beard worked in development for Struever Brothers, Eccles & Rouse, Inc. leading Asset Management for the company’s two million square foot mixed use, commercial portfolio. Previous experience includes over eight years at Allegis Group, Inc. where Mr. Beard was an Assistant Vice President in their Strategic Investments Group helping the company expand its service offerings through various diversifying acquisitions. Mr. Beard also held the position of Corporate Real Estate Manager, where he represented Allegis Group nationally in over 80 lease transactions.
