Justin Ross is a First Vice President with CBRE’s multifamily investment group. He concentrates on the middle-market of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs with property values ranging $2-$25 million and containing between 20-200 units.
Justin began his career in multifamily investment sales in 2003. Throughout his tenure, he has represented a wide range of clients from small neighborhood owners to private portfolio owners, as well as financial institutions, private equity groups and hedge funds. To date, his transactions have totaled over 6,500 units with a consideration of almost 1-Billion dollars. Over his career, he has successfully closed over 120 transactions with an average deal size of 50 units and 7.5MM. Annually, his team consults on roughly 100MM worth of apartment properties- providing for invaluable resources and information for clients.
With over 20 years of experience, Justin has worked at both large and small firms. His various roles have ranged from day-to-day brokerage, to building groundwork and infrastructure, training brokers, and sourcing and hiring staff. He has contributed as a speaker and moderator to several commercial real estate forecast conferences and enjoys understanding and meeting client objectives.
Justin and his team currently advise and represent high-net-worth individuals, local and foreign syndicators, small to mid-sized funds, portfolio owners, family trusts, non-profit organizations, and new construction developers of luxury, boutique properties. Justin is also an active member of his community. He is currently a member/donor of the Old Town School of Folk Music, past board member for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Poker Run, and past coach for an inner-city NFP ice hockey program. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing guitar in a local cover band.
