Associated Office
Michael Shover joined CBRE as Senior Vice President in 2015 specializing in the sale of Net Lease properties in the Mid-Atlantic Region and throughout the country. Shortly after, Michael was inducted into CBRE’s exclusive Net Lease Property Group, leading and specializing in the Mid-Atlantic area. The Net Lease Property Group comprises of a team of senior advisors located within major metropolitan areas throughout the United States who are dedicated to transacting single-tenant assets and net-lease portfolios nationwide. In 2020, Michael and his team were recognized by Globe St. as a Team of the Year in the net lease space which acknowledged their successful track record and best practices within the industry. Michael was also nominated by Real Estate Forum as a Top Investment Sales Broker for being among the top-producing brokers in the United States in 2017. At year-end 2016, Michael ranked in the top 20 producers in the Country for investment sales at CBRE, and top 10 among all producers in the Philadelphia Region. He also received a 2016 CoStar Power Broker Award as a Top Sales Broker in the Philadelphia market.
Michael’s goal is to provide his clients with a world class level of quality representation, professionalism, integrity and execution through expertise and specialization in all aspects of the sales process. Throughout his 12-year career in real estate, Michael has participated in over 700 transactions equaling more than $2.35 billion dollars of commercial real estate.
Prior to CBRE, Michael began his career as an Investment Broker in June of 2008 with Marcus & Millichap and quickly moving on to become a sales agent in early 2009. He was promoted several times throughout his time with the firm achieving Senior Associate status in 2012, Associate Director of the National Retail Group in 2013, and Director of the National Retail Group that same year. In August 2014, he was promoted to Associate Vice President Investments. Michael was awarded the 2012 and the 2014 National Achievement Award and received the Sales Recognition Award in 2013—both awards recognizing the highest producing agents within the firm. In 2012, Michael was ranked within the top 30 agents in the Net Lease Properties Group. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Michael spent four years as a Commercial Real Estate Lender with a Regional Bank in Baltimore, Maryland where he served as an Assistant Vice President. It was during this time where Michael developed the fundamentals for underwriting and evaluating commercial real estate. Michael is a graduate of Bucknell University where he received a BA in Business Administration. He was a member of the Bucknell Football team and earned three varsity letters during his college career.
