Steven K. Chon

With more than 22 years of experience, Steven K. Chon advises corporate clients and investors on complex real estate strategies across Silicon Valley, North America, and the Asia Pacific region. He represents clients in site selection, lease and sale negotiations, property dispositions, and long-term portfolio planning for organizations of varying sizes and complexities.

Steven represents clients ranging from startups to global conglomerates. He advises on projects including corporate headquarters, R&D centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, and logistics operations in both domestic and international markets. His experience across East Asia and the United States enables him to guide cross-border decisions with a strong understanding of market dynamics, business practices, and cultural context. Steven has managed transactions totaling billions of dollars across diverse regions. An impressive track record highlighting his commitment to delivering results for his clients and consistently achieving their goals in a dynamic market environment.

Steven is also the Co-Leader of CBRE’s Korea Desk North America (KDNA), the firm’s official specialty practice group. A core focus of Steven’s practice is advocating for Korean companies as they establish, expand, and operate across North America. His team combines local market expertise with fluency in Korean business culture to provide direct, on-the-ground representation without intermediaries, helping clients align strategy, execution, and decision-making throughout each assignment.

He also serves as Senior Advisor to the Asia Pacific Network (APN) in Northern California and mentors young professionals in commercial real estate. He is fluent in English and Korean.
