Cape, a fast-growing privacy-focused mobile carrier, announced the opening of its new headquarters at Arlington Tower, located at 1300 N. 17th Street in Rosslyn, Virginia. The move into the new office space marks a major milestone in Cape’s company growth as it continues to scale its footprint in the Washington, D.C. metro area. CBRE arranged the lease on behalf of Cape.
Cape will occupy 12,960 sq. ft. on the 16th floor of the Class A office property. The move follows the company’s recently announced $100 million Series C funding, which is accelerating its work across government, enterprise and consumer, as they use the fresh capital to deepen investment in its core infrastructure and talent.
Located in the heart of Rosslyn, Arlington Tower offers proximity to Washington, D.C., convenient access to public transit and connectivity to the region’s talent base. Cape’s new headquarters features panoramic views of the nation’s capital and a modern workplace environment designed to support collaboration and innovation.
The newly structured lease provides Cape with flexibility to accommodate near-term hiring needs while allowing room for future expansion as the company’s workforce grows.
“Our goal was to support Cape at a pivotal moment in its evolution,” said Tyler Bensten, Senior Vice President at CBRE. “As the company prepared to establish a dedicated headquarters, it was important to align their real estate strategy with both current operations and long-term growth plans. Our focus was on creating a real estate framework that gives them room to grow without limiting future options.”
The move into Arlington Tower supports Cape’s broader growth strategy. In addition to its Washington, D.C. presence, Cape maintains a New York City footprint.
CBRE’s Tyler Bensten represented Cape in the transaction. The landlord, Brookfield, was represented by Transwestern.
