CBRE Arranges Lease for Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns at Rivergate Tower in Tampa

CBRE has arranged a 33,175-square-foot lease for Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns, LLP, at Rivergate Tower, a 515,965-square-foot Class A office building in Tampa. The Tampa-based law firm will be relocating approximately 68 employees, including 42 attorneys, in fall 2023.
CBRE’s Roxanne Kemph and Kelley Matheson represented the landlord, Banyan Street Capital, in the lease negotiations.

Johnson Pope Bokor Ruppel & Burns will occupy the top two floors in Rivergate’s tower, which features floor-to-ceiling windows, high expansive ceilings, and unobstructed panoramic views of Tampa Bay.”
Rivergate Tower is located at 400 N. Ashley Drive, proximate to Interstate 275 and the Selmon Crosstown Expressway. The property features a tenant lounge, a café, two conference/training centers, dry cleaning services, a fitness center, valet parking, Malio’s Steakhouse, and an outdoor terrace café/bar along the Riverwalk.

According to CBRE Research, tenant activity, used as a gauge of future office space demand in Tampa, remained steady during Q4 2022, with total requirements of 1.9 million square feet.
