CBRE Expands Debt & Structured Finance Team in Atlanta with Key Hires and Promotions

CBRE announced today the expansion of its Debt & Structured Finance (DSF) team in Atlanta with the addition of two new analysts and the promotion of two seasoned professionals. Anthony Ptacek joins CBRE as Senior Analyst, bringing experience from Colliers where he specialized as an industrial tenant representation broker. Justin Strickland joins as Analyst from Truist, where he served as a commercial real estate analyst. Both hires will support the team’s growing pipeline of institutional debt and equity placements across the Southeast.
In addition, JP Cordeiro and Taylor Crowder, members of the Atlanta DSF team since 2022, have been promoted to First Vice President and Vice President, respectively. Since 2018, Cordeiro and Crowder have played a key role in executing more than $20 billion in debt placements.

In last five years, the team has closed more than $20 billion across 325 transactions, including notable assignments such as CODA at Tech Square and Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta. Recent deal closings include a $245 million refinancing of 1105 West Peachtree and $181.5 million refinancing of The Finery in Nashville, TN.
