CBRE's Golf & Resort Group, led by Jeff Woolson and Morgan Abbott, announce the sale of three nationally recognized, high-end daily fee golf clubs: Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., Angel Park Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev., and Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., to Arcis Golf, the second largest owner and operator of golf facilities in the United States. In total, the team has completed the sale of five golf and resort properties in the first half of 2023, totaling nearly $200 million.

“Arcis Golf is a well-respected owner and operator in all three markets and will make an excellent steward of these exceptional properties moving forward,” said Mr. Woolson, Managing Director of CBRE’s Golf & Resort Group.

Situated on 370 acres, Grayhawk Golf Club is a premier, 36-hole facility in Scottsdale. Its two courses, Talon (Par 72, 7,003 yards) and Raptor (Par 72, 7,151 yards), are two of the region’s best golf courses, each with its own practice facility. The Club has hosted numerous junior, amateur and professional events, including the last three NCAA Men’s and Women’s Division 1 Championships. The golf courses are complemented by seven different food and beverage options, including Isabella’s Kitchen.

Angel Park is a popular, 48-hole facility in Las Vegas that sits at 3,000 feet of elevation with spectacular views of the Red Rock Mountains and Las Vegas Valley. The Club features two championship golf courses, a 12-hole par-3 replica course, a 9-hole putting course and the Angel Park Golf Academy, as well as a southwestern-style clubhouse and golf shop. The Club features the popular Nino’s Kitchen with indoor and outdoor seating, plus weekday happy hours.

Tijeras Creek is one of the public-access courses in Southern California. The facility features an 18-hole, championship-length golf course, and an attractive, well-designed single story, multi-purpose clubhouse. The Ted Robinson-designed golf course is complemented by an expansive practice facility, and the clubhouse offers a full restaurant, bar and golf shop.

In 2023, the CBRE team also sold Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, Calif., which includes a 7,200-yard course co-designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Jr., and they also facilitated the sale of Aetna Springs, a residential and resort development totaling 2,870 acres located in Napa County, Calif.

CBRE's Golf & Resort Group is an international practice specializing in marketing and selling leisure properties, including public and private golf clubs and resorts, ski and marina properties, and developable land. The group has completed transactions totaling $600 million in the last three years.
