CBRE Negotiates Sale of Plantation Executive Building in Broward County for $8 Million

CBRE arranged the sale of Plantation Executive Building, a 27,483-square-foot mixed-use retail and office property at 270-330 S. University Drive in Plantation, Florida. Joseph Edelman purchased the property from a private family investment group for $8 million.

CBRE’s Ben Silver and Kelley Greenstein represented both parties in the transaction.

This is the first time the property has been offered for sale since it was built in 1974. The two-story building features a mix of retail and office tenants, including two restaurants located on either end. The property is strategically located in Plantation’s Midtown District, directly across from Broward Mall along South University Drive.

“CBRE worked closely with the ownership to bring a long-held family asset to market,” said Greenstein, an Associate with CBRE. “The property’s visibility, tenant mix, and future upside resonated strongly with investors.”

The transaction, which closed on Jan. 21, 2026, underscores ongoing investor demand for first-time-offered, generational assets in prime Broward County submarkets with strong fundamentals and long-term growth potential.
