CBRE Promotes Kevin McLennan to Vice Chairman in Chicago

CBRE has promoted Kevin McLennan to Vice Chairman, the firm's highest professional title for producers. McLennan is a member of CBRE's Chicago Occupier Services practice.

McLennan advises publicly traded companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio company management teams on complex real estate and capital structure decisions. His work spans leveraged buyouts, public-to-private conversions, and post-IPO real estate strategy across healthcare, industrial, life sciences, consumer, logistics, office, retail, specialty manufacturing, and mission-critical sectors.

Alongside business partner Paul Diederich, McLennan has led more than $15 billion in aggregate transactions, including over $12 billion in lease and structured occupancy transactions and more than $3 billion in capital markets activity.

He operates at the intersection of real estate strategy and capital structure in ways few advisors can, and the most demanding public and private organizations trust him with their highest-stakes decisions,” said Kevin Collins, Executive Managing Director, CBRE. “This promotion reflects the level he operates at.”

McLennan earned a Bachelor of Science from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. He serves on CBRE's National Healthcare Council and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
