CBRE Promotes Steffen Kammerer to Executive Managing Director

CBRE announced the promotion of Steffen Kammerer to Executive Managing Director. Kammerer leads CBRE’s office in Silicon Valley and will add oversight of the firm’s Palo Alto and Burlingame offices. Kammerer will manage over 100 producers across a variety of disciplines, including leasing, property sales, capital markets and debt and structured finance.

Since joining CBRE in August 2023, Kammerer has expanded its Silicon Valley office and industrial leasing teams, developed and implemented new management tools, and has been instrumental in shaping key business initiatives.

Kammerer was also named to Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2025 40 Under 40 award.

Prior to joining CBRE, Kammerer was Regional Managing Director at Colliers, where he led brokerage services for the Bay Area, after spending over a decade in tenant representation at JLL where he led its national technology practice group.
