CBRE Welcomes Retail Specialists Adam Russ and Erin Varol in Charlotte, North Carolina

CBRE announced today that Adam Russ and Erin Varol have joined the firm’s Charlotte office as Senior Vice Presidents. Accompanying them is Will Register, who has joined the firm as a Senior Investment Sales Analyst.

Together, they will work with Senior Vice President Mike Burkard and Vice President Steve Shields on the CBRE National Retail Partners team, where they will focus on the sale of open-air, multi-tenant retail assets through the Carolinas.

Mr. Russ began his 14-year career in commercial real estate at CBRE in 2010 as an investment sales analyst. Most recently, he was a partner with Berkeley Capital Advisors in Charlotte, where he oversaw the formation and operation of the company's multi-tenant unanchored strip retail platform.

Ms. Varol is also rejoining CBRE after originally interning for the firm in 2012. A 10-plus-year commercial real estate veteran, Ms. Varol most recently was a managing director with Berkeley Capital Advisors in Charlotte, where she specialized in multi-tenant and retail investment sales and helped form the multi-tenant unanchored strip retail platform.

Mr. Register began his commercial real estate career in 2021 at Berkeley Capital Advisors in Charlotte as an associate where he specialized in the underwriting and sale of unanchored retail shopping centers. Prior to commercial real estate, Mr. Register was a member of the University of North Carolina Men's Golf Team and was a professional golfer on the PGA Tour in Canada.
