CBRE Capital Markets has arranged the $14.6 million sale of College Plaza, a 56,386-sq.-ft. retail center at 7070 College Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida.

CBRE Senior Vice President Jim Shiebler, CCIM, CEC represented both the seller and buyer, each private investors, in the transaction.

College Plaza is located on 5.25 acres at the busiest intersection in Lee County with more than 109,000 vehicles crossing the intersection each day. For the past 10 years, the shopping center has been fully leased by notable retailers, including Ada’s Natural Market, West Marine, Pet Supermarket, and an outparcel occupied by Five Guys, Tijuana Flats, and The Good Feet Store.

College Plaza is surrounded by retail outlets and dense residential neighborhoods, creating a high barrier to entry in this corridor. The center sits within one mile of Florida Southern State College and Canterbury School, and approximately two miles from Gulf Coast Medical Center.
