Los Angeles
Fostering a robust connection between civic leaders and the business community is key to shaping a thriving future for all Angelenos. Through this dynamic collaboration we can positively impact development, fuel innovation and help address the challenges L.A. faces today.
Los Angeles is witnessing a transformative shift in how people live, work and play fueled by the macroeconomic changes impacting commercial real estate. Capitalizing on these trends will shape a resilient future for our city.
The Power of Civic Partnership
Jessica Lall writes about shaping the future of Los Angeles.
New York
New York City’s foundational advantages are its scale and embrace of differences among its people. The largest city by population in the world’s #1 economy is distinguished by the range and depth of its labor pool which has created and sustained a powerful, diversified economy. It’s a global center of culture, finance and media, an incubator for emerging businesses and ideas, and a magnet for the ambitious and entrepreneurial. Like cities everywhere, New York faces many challenges, but has a proven capacity for reinvention and a pride in its own resilience. Once again New York needs to set aside outdated paradigms and embrace creative solutions and collaboration between the public and private sectors. No one who has bet against New York has ever come up a winner.
