Previously, Alexander served as Managing Partner of The Agency’s Commercial Advisory Division, overseeing, sourcing, and closing commercial transactions for the firm’s clients. He brings more than 20 years of commercial investment, development, and brokerage experience and is known as a skilled negotiator and advocate for his clients.
Before The Agency, Alexander was a founding member and President of The December Co., Inc., a boutique commercial brokerage focused on high street retail and office and industrial lease and sale transactions. He also served as Acquisitions Director at BH Properties, where he deployed approximately $100 million annually in acquisitions throughout the Western United States, targeting distressed and value-add investments.
Earlier in his career, Alexander was Vice President at Silagi Development and Management, Inc., where he helped stabilize and dispose of 3.5 million square feet of commercial properties to GE Capital / The Muller Company, one of the largest commercial sales transactions of that year. Raised in Colorado and a Southern California resident since 1995, he has deep roots in the Southland and a nuanced understanding of the regional market.
Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a former member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
