Andrew Baines is a First Vice President with CBRE’s Advisory and Transactions group, specializing in Metro Detroit office tenant representation and multi-market assignments for major corporate clients. Andrew utilizes a strategic and systematic approach to his client’s transactions and prides himself on his strong attention to detail and a tireless work ethic. Andrew is a member of a brokerage team comprising of Jamie Dingeman, Amanda Gates, and Elizabeth Evans, focused on providing strategic planning, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio optimization initiatives for a diverse group of leading corporations, municipalities and non-profit institutions.
Prior to his work on the Advisory and Transactions team, Andrew spent time gaining knowledge and experience with other business groups within CBRE. Most recently, he provided capital markets advisory and execution guidance for both planned and existing assets on behalf of corporate occupiers, developers and owners for a nationally-focused capital markets team, where he also advised clients on different types of credit-based financing structures. Prior to his capital markets experience, Andrew worked in Chicago with CBRE’s Financial Consulting Group where he supported the Occupier Practice for the Chicago CBD and Suburbs. With the Financial Consulting Group, Andrew assisted both private and public sector clients in developing occupancy cost strategies and analyses with special expertise in leasing/ownership strategies and accounting and tax implications for real estate transactions.
