Brandon Famous is a retail specialist who has built his career on advising retail brands on their real estate strategy. As an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Global Retail Platform, Brandon specializes in national and global retailer expansion, site acquisition, and advisory.
For 6 years, Brandon served as CBRE’s Global Retail Occupier Leader building the global CBRE retail brand and platform. In this role, he was responsible for the practice’s business operations, business development, financial performance and recruitment in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Brandon advised over 1,000 retailers on their real estate strategy in the Americas and oversaw more than 650 retail brokers. He has played an active role in retail consulting, site selection, acquisition negotiations, construction, and economics analysis while leading CBRE’s representation of retailers in cross-border expansion worldwide.
Brandon joined CBRE in late 2013 as an Executive Vice President upon the company’s acquisition of Fameco Real Estate, LP, of which Brandon was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. He has more than 30 years’ experience in retail and commercial real estate and has completed more than 4,000 retail lease transactions totaling in excess of 40 million square feet of space. Brandon was responsible for the initial rollouts of Starbucks, Panera Bread, Chipotle, Five Below, Nordstrom Rack, Top Golf, and many others throughout the Philadelphia region.
Brandon is based in Philadelphia, PA and has a team of six professionals who are focused on helping retailers expand locally, regionally, and nationally. Current client list includes Nordstrom Rack, PGA TOUR Superstore, Tom’s Watch Bar, Cigars International, D1 Training, Perspire Sauna Studio, STRONG Pilates, Playa Bowls, Crumbl Cookies (franchisee Tobias Harris), Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming, and Mister Car Wash.
