Charlie Hexum is a First Vice President at CBRE where he focuses on landlord/agency services within the Retail Advisory & Transaction Services team. Charlie has established himself as an expert in the Minnesota retail marketplace representing numerous institutional and regional landlords & developers in achieving their goals.
In 2018, Charlie was strategically recruited to join CBRE’s retail platform along with his business partner, Rob Wise. Rob and Charlie have completed over 500 transactions totaling over 2.5 million square feet with a value in excess of $400,000,000. Their current portfolio consists of over 4 million square feet of retail throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul and Greater Minnesota marketplace.
Charlie is an active member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR). Charlie is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate with an emphasis in Sales and Marketing.
Prior to joining CBRE, Charlie was a Retail Leasing Specialist at Mid-America Real Estate in Minneapolis. During a four-year span at Mid-America, Charlie worked with national institutional landlord clients, as well as prominent local & regional landlords and developers.
