Professional Experience
Robert Wise is a First Vice President at CBRE where he focuses on Retail Advisory and Transaction Services. Based in the Minneapolis office, Robert is primarily focused on leasing retail properties in the Twin Cities metro area on behalf of institutional and regional landlord clients along with business partner, Charlie Hexum.
Since beginning his real estate career, Robert has represented various clients in transactions that have totaled in excess of 1,000,000 square feet. He is an active member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), RICS America and a board member of Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR).
Prior to joining CBRE, Robert specialized in retail leasing at Mid-America Real Estate in Minneapolis, most recently as First Vice President of Leasing. During a six-year span at Mid-America, Robert worked with numerous national and international institutional landlord clients, as well as prominent regional landlord and development clients.
In 2018, Rob was strategically recruited to join CBRE’s retail platform along with his business partner, Charlie Hexum. Rob and Charlie have completed over 250 transactions totaling over 1.3 million square feet with a value in excess of $250,000,000. Their current portfolio consists of over 3 million square feet of retail throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul and Greater Minnesota marketplace.
Robert is a graduate of the Commercial Real Estate program at Nottingham Trent University. After a beginning a commercial real estate career in London, England; Robert pursued and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
