Edward Petti is part of CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance team in South Florida. The team provides debt advisory services to meet the financing needs of the full spectrum of commercial real estate investors from individual borrowers and middle market owners to large institutional entities.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Mr. Petti has closed in excess of $7 billion in commercial real estate loans across all asset classes with a focus on multifamily and hotel assets. His experience as a national lender ranged across CMBS, Agency (conventional & affordable), bridge, balance sheet and construction loan products.

The team leverages their lending relationships and CBRE’s resources to access diverse capital sources around the globe to provide their clients with the greatest number of financing options and up to date guidance to identify the best partners for their asset and capital stack strategy.

Our team of experts specialize in originating, underwriting, and closing secured loans, providing clients with a seamless, one-stop experience. Whether you're looking to acquire, refinance, or reposition a property, our team has the experience and resources to help navigate through the entire loan process efficiently and effectively. We offer lending solutions utilizing our long standing Life Insurance company lenders, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, FHA HUD as well as local bank sources for our clients.

Diverse Lender Relationships: CBRE maintains diverse lender relationships including agency, bank, CMBS and life companies allowing us to provide financing solutions from small deals to large landmark transactions across all property types.

Freddie Mac:
CBRE’S Freddie Mac Optigo lending platform was one of the top multifamily originators in 2023. CBRE has the depth and experience to provide seamless access and deliver unparalleled advantage to our clients. CBRE issues loans in all national markets across all Freddie Mac product types.

Fannie Mae:
CBRE Multifamily Capital, Inc. is an approved lender under Fannie Mae’s Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS®) program. Through the DUS® program CBRE can provide flexible and attractive multifamily financing nationally.

FHA/HUD:
CBRE originates, funds and services FHA-insured long- term, fixed rate, non-recourse, fully amortizing loans. FHA-insured financing programs include integrated construction/permanent loans and permanent acquisition/ refinance loans for multifamily, healthcare and senior housing properties nationwide.

Life Insurance Companies:
CBRE originates and services on behalf of the leading life insurance company lenders in the Nation. Life companies provide the lowest rates in the industry and can lock rates at loan applications. They also can make portfolio lender decisions and first class service after loan closing.

Banks:
CBRE has vast experience in providing out of town clients with the best in class local/regional banks as well as assisting local owners with making sure they are getting the most from their existing bank relationships.
