Mr. Armstead’s career began in the philanthropic sector, where he spent over five years managing a $7 million annual grantmaking portfolio aimed at improving health outcomes and addressing the social determinants of health in Palm Beach County. He also led grassroots advocacy and public policy initiatives in partnership with municipal, county, and nonprofit stakeholders—experience that sharpened his ability to navigate complex ecosystems and build lasting partnerships.
