Jefrey Henderson joined CBRE in the fall of 2004, has over 18 years of experience in the Bay Area commercial real estate markets and leads CBRE’s Bay Area Institutional Multifamily Investment Properties Group.
His investment sales experience has been responsible for closing over $11.5 billion worth of commercial property sales or acquisitions consisting of over 45+ million total square feet, including over 20+ million existing square feet sold, over 20+ million developable square feet, over 4+ million square feet leased, and over 18,000+ existing & developable multifamily units throughout the Bay Area on behalf of investors, developers, and corporate users.
Noteworthy transactions include the off-market purchase of ~10 acres for Prometheus’ future mixed-use project consisting of 860 units & 260,000 square feet of office, the off-market assemblage of ~20 acres for The Irvine Company’s mixed-use Scott Square project consisting of 1,800 units, the off-market purchase of Pacific Shores office park totalling 934,000 existing square feet & 500,000 developable square feet, and the off-market assemblage of ~17 acres for The Sobrato Organization’s mixed-use project consisting of 635 units & 400,000 square feet of office.
On a side note, Jef brokered off-market assemblages for Google in Mountain View’s North Bayshore & East Whisman districts consisting of over 10 million existing/developable square feet & 7,000 developable units, in Sunnyvale’s Moffett Park consisting of over 10 million existing/developable square feet & 8,000 developable units, and in San Jose’s Downtown West consisting of over 7 million developable square feet & over 5,000 developable units.
A Bay Area native born in Mountain View and raised in Sunnyvale, Jef holds a J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law, a B.A. in Communication from Santa Clara University and graduated from Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.
