Melissa Ley Marshall is First Vice President and Partner of CBRE’s Net Lease Property Group in Newport Beach, California. She specializes in the acquisition and disposition of NNN single-tenant retail properties throughout the United States and has closed $1 Billion in investment volume throughout her career. Melissa manages the entire sales process, from underwriting and valuation to offer negotiations, working relentlessly to deliver best results for her private and institutional clients.
For the past 8+ years, Melissa has developed and led the team’s 1031 exchange program, to ensure the successful placement of 1031 capital and acquisition of replacement properties on behalf of exclusive 1031 exchange buyers. Through working on both the sellside and buyside, Melissa has developed exceptional market knowledge and experience on both sides of the table, and tailors each strategy to her clients’ unique needs.
Melissa was elected to and currently serves on both the CBRE Capital Markets Advisory Board and the CBRE Women’s Network Advisory Board. She serves on several committees that support KidWorks, a local non-profit organization focused on the development and mentorship of youth in challenged Orange County neighborhoods through education, character formation and personal growth.
