Melissa Ley Marshall is Senior Vice President and Partner of CBRE’s Net Lease Property Group in Newport Beach, California. She specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant, net-leased retail properties nationwide and has closed more than $1.56 billion in investment sales volume and over 442 transactions throughout her career. As co-lead of her team, Melissa provides strategic leadership and oversight, maintaining the highest standards of client service across every engagement for her private and institutional clients.
For more than ten years, Melissa has developed and led the team’s 1031 exchange platform, successfully placing exchange capital and sourcing replacement properties for qualified buyers. By advising clients on both the sell-side and buy-side, she has cultivated a deep, well-rounded understanding of the net lease market and tailors each strategy to align with her clients’ specific investment objectives.
Melissa previously served on the CBRE Capital Markets Advisory Board and currently serves on the CBRE Women’s Network Advisory Board. She is also a passionate supporter of KidWorks, a local nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and empowering youth in underserved Orange County communities through education, character development, and personal growth.
