Ryan W. Wilkinson, a resident of San Clemente, California, is an Executive Vice President at CBRE in the Debt & Structured Finance division. Ryan joined CBRE in Newport Beach in 2015 to expand the company’s footprint in private client multifamily loan origination. Ryan brought a proven, entrepreneurial background with a broad base of knowledge in real estate and business finance.
Professional Affiliations and Education
Prior to joining CBRE, Ryan was the cofounder of Synergy Capital Mortgage Corporation, where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Ryan was instrumental in transitioning the company from a Retail Mortgage Broker to a Retail Mortgage Banker and increasing the production to over $300 Million Annually. In a declining real estate market, Ryan was able to grow their sales revenue by 700% and increase net profits to the organization by 1600% by leveraging custom-built software to identify key markets. Ryan held lending licenses in 17 states including licensing from the Federal Housing of Urban Development. Ryan successfully brought Synergy Capital Mortgage Corporation to acquisition in early 2007.
Ryan would then become a Senior Vice President with First Foundation Bank where he was able to leverage his previous experience with Synergy Capital Mortgage to help grow the bank from $30 Million in assets to over $2.5 Billion. During his time at First Foundation Bank, he won the top loan producer award from 2009-2014 and was also instrumental in helping the bank grow their deposit base.
In addition, Ryan serves as a Board Member for Human Options. He is passionate about helping women and children who are victims of domestic violence find Safety, Healing, and a Way Forward. Ryan also previously served on the Board committee for the March of Dimes Signature Chef Event held annually in Orange County. Ryan’s commitment to philanthropy and community has led him to volunteer in roles that benefit those in need and be an ambassador of awareness for the cause.
